James Castrission has created a life full of adventure and adrenalin-fuelled achievements, and is now one of the most highly regarded Australian speakers, and inspirational figures.
James, along with his close friend Jonesy, sea kayaked 3,318kms from Australia to New Zealand through the treacherous waters of the Tasman Sea, unassisted. Battling sleep and food deprivation, 10 metre swells and howling winds, the duo were the first kayakers to complete this feat of human endurance.
The pair, along with Norwegian explorer Aleksander Gamme, also completed the first ever unassisted polar crossing journeying from the edge of the Antarctic to the South Pole and back over 89 gruelling days – a first in 100 years of polar exploration.
These extraordinary achievements along with a whole host of other expeditions have resulted in 2 Guinness World Records, 2 bestselling books, a place on Australia’s Top 50 Explorers Off All Time list and a undiminishing thirst for life.
James will be your private guide and host throughout your Blue Mountains experience.
James and his enthusiastic and knowledgeable team provide exclusive private adventure day tours operated out of Sydney or Wolgan Valley, as well as 2 or more night safaris accommodated at a private luxury camp.
