Your Aussie Wildlife Adventure will begin at 09:00am with a pick-up from your Melbourne CBD accommodation, from which your private local guide will begin today’s journey towards the Mornington Peninsula.
During the journey from Melbourne, your guide will include a scenic drive along Port Phillip Bay – where you will have the opportunity to view the famous colourful bathing boxes and will also have the chance to stop and experience the magnificent views at Arthur’s Seat Lookout.
Next on the agenda is a visit to Green Olive at Red Hill for morning tea, and once this has concluded you will have the option of visiting the Main Ridge Dairy, Red Hill Cheese or tour the Mornington Peninsula.
Lunch will be arranged at a magnificent vineyard restaurant, and with the Mornington Peninsula being one of the Victoria’s leading food and wine regions a visit to the area would be lacking without sampling the local wines first.
On conclusion of lunch, your guide will take you on a visit to the Moonlit Sanctuary wildlife conservation park, where you will have the opportunity to interact with and view many different Australian native wildlife species. This award-winning sanctuary is built onto 10 hectares of bushland and allows visitors to encounter endangered species, feed kangaroos and wallabies, pet koalas and enjoy interacting with colourful bird species, reptiles and dingoes.
Once your experience at Moonlit Sanctuary has come to an end it will be time to head back to Melbourne, and once you have been returned to your accommodation the tour will conclude.
