Really immerse with nature walking deep into the rainforest, through a variety of eco-systems including the ancient ‘Gondwana’ rainforests – a link to Australia’s rainforest 100 million years ago. Visit truly stunning lookouts over the lush valleys and Gold Coast. Walk behind waterfalls, before enjoying a snack by its rock pool.
Enjoy lunch by a small, private lake and gardens. The menu is complete with a heavy emphasis on organic and locally sourced ingredients with Australian themed flavours. The property’s owner is Springbrook National Park’s ex-head ranger of 30 years who provides a tour around their private gardens. This is a great chance to look for ‘pademelons’ – Springbrook’s rainforest-dwelling mini wallabies.
View a superb 100 metre high waterfall. Purlingbrook Falls is 106 metre (350 feet) falls flowing into a rainforested gorge including palms, ferns and lilies. Spot native wildlife and drive through the enchanting Numinbah Valley to the famous Natural Bridge – an amazing rock and waterfall formation. You will get to plenty of photo opportunities at Canyon Lookout – Stunning view over the valleys out to Gold Coast’s beaches. Twin Falls walk is an amazing walk descending deep into the forest past numerous waterfalls, streams, rock pools and small caves. After walking behind the 40 metre (130 feet) ‘Twin Falls’, pause at the rock pool at the base of these majestic falls for snacks and a drink.
Your guide then has a special treat as you are taken to the “Best of All Lookout”. Here you will wander past the majestic 2000 year old Antarctic Beech trees in the ancient ‘Gondwana Rainforest’ to the cliff tops with incredible views over the volcanic ‘Green Cauldron’, Mt Warning and NSW coastline to Byron Bay.
Over an afternoon tea of freshly baked scones or cakes, learn how 23 million years of history made the Tweed Shield Volcano – an incredibly biodiverse and beautiful region.
At conclusion of the complete exploration, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Umbrellas are provided but guest may bring their own rain coat if preferred. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as the tracks can get slightly muddy after heavy rain. Bring a jacket/pullover even when warm as the mountains can be much cooler than the city.
If a cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to Tour departure the cancellation fee is 25% of the Tour price.
If a cancellation is made more than 14 days but less than 30 days prior to Tour departure the cancellation fee is 50% of the Tour price.
If a cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to Tour departure, or for a non-appearance to commence the Tour, the cancellation fee is 100% of the Tour price.
No refunds are payable for ‘change of mind’.
