You will be met by your fun and friendly guide at your Sydney CBD accommodation at 9:00am and taken on a journey in your private vehicle in and around Sydney – exploring Bondi’s beach culture, harbour life and chocolate making at its finest.
Crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge you can enjoy expansive views over the harbour. Travel through Sydney’s leafy north shore, prized for splendid water views and unique lifestyles.
A decadent chocolate making masterclass overlooking incredible Sydney Harbour is arranged which the whole family can enjoy! The fun filled hour and a half includes hand tempering chocolate on marble and making a selection of gourmet chocolates – all of which you can take home in generous goody bags. You will make chocolate bars, artwork lollypops, chocolate stars and freckles. You can choose to use organic milk, white or dark chocolate. At the end, everyone will get a certificate, celebrating the experience.
Enjoy a luncheon of fine Australian cuisine in a beautiful setting at Balmoral Beach, one of the most picturesque sheltered beaches on Sydney Harbour. Here you’ll find locals enjoying the pristine beach with protected swimming areas. You’ll have time for a swim before lunch. A lunch reservation has been made for you to make sure you don’t miss out (especially in the busy season).
After lunch, it’s time to discover Aussie Beach Culture. Travel back across the Harbour Bridge to Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach. Explore the each on foot from one end to the other with your host. Cruise past the kiddy pool and the grassy knoll on the far north end of the beach and find yourself at the ‘Rock Shelf’, a bed of sandstone on the water’s edge with natural rock pools, perfect for the kids to splash and play in. Really take in the coastal geology and warm salt water. The kids will have time to swim, play and explore.
Next you will head up into the shops of Bondi Beach for afternoon tea. Choose from the many fantastic local cafes, or a quick bite at one of the organic grocers or pop up snack bars.
If you’re touring on a weekend, the famous Bondi Markets is a must see. On Saturdays it’s a gourmet farmers market and Sundays it’s all about food, fashion, craft and local treasures.
Your tour will conclude and your guide will return you to your Sydney accommodation at approximately 4:30pm.
