Your tour will begin with an 08:15am flight from Adelaide Airport to Coffin Bay (on the Eyre Peninsula) in your privately chartered aircraft.
Your morning is spent exploring the stunning white beaches and unspoilt beaches and scenery of Coffin Bay National Park before heading back into town to experience the most famous spoils of the area – The Coffin Bay Oyster. Enjoy a 1 hour guided experience at Pure Coffin Bay Oysters, surrounded by clean fresh air, pure clear waters and beautiful landscapes, to learn about the Pacific and the Native Angasi Oyster. Pure Coffin Bay Oysters is an operation that contributes to the 60 tonnes of oysters that are trucked out of Coffin Bay every week. Chris and his team will explain and guide you through the whole Oyster growing and harvesting process. Fresh out of the rack, you get to sample these magnificent Oysters as well as seeing all the equipment used to get these Oysters into the top restaurants around the world.
Continue your culinary journey and ensure you’re all refreshed and fuelled up for the rest of the afternoon, with a lunch stop at the either Coffin Bay 1802 Oyster Bar and Grill or Boston Bay Winery, depending on the day of travel.
After lunch your guide will drive out to Mikkira Station, the perfect place to be able to discover and view Koalas relaxing in their natural habitat. Here you have the opportunity to sit back, relax around the campfire (seasonal considerations will apply) in the original restored homestead, or even head off on a light walk around the station, enjoying the surrounding natural bushland. With a glass of wine in hand, and a platter laden with local produce this is the perfect place to simply relax and enjoy.
On the way back to the Port Lincoln airport your guide will take you on a detour to the Marina Wharf – home to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest fishing fleet. You will also be able to view the diversity of Port Lincoln’s fishing industry’s vessels.
Your guide will then transfer you to the Port Lincoln Airport at approximately 5:00pm where it will be time to board your private aircraft and enjoy the flight back to Adelaide Airport.
