“The Ultimate Day in Sydney” – Enjoy the best of what Sydney has to offer by both road and cruising the magnificent and sparkling Sydney Harbour. See the icons close up from the water, visit the best vantage points, immerse yourself in the cultural precincts, walk the cliffs faces to Bondi Beach. This is a full day private tour, hosted by local, passionate and well connected people, with premium inclusions, in luxury vehicles. A day that provides an excellent orientation to Sydney as it is viewed and experienced from all angles. Expect a comprehensive overview of inner Sydney for the first couple of hours of touring, followed by 4 hours cruising Sydney Harbour with a fabulous lunch served on board your privately charted boat, and then 2 hours by road to complete your full day Sydney experience. This experience is all done in privacy and luxury away from the usual tourist trails and is the best of Sydney in a day.
Your dedicated host will meet you at your CBD hotel at approximately 9.30am and commence the first portion of the land tour. This in a great introduction to the icons of Sydney and your experience begins appropriately from the birth place of Australia, The Rocks district. Learn about the discovery of Australia and the early Sydney settlers, the characters and their stories. Weave around the back streets of The Rocks, under the Harbour Bridge and onto Walsh Bay, the recently developed theatre district of Sydney.
Travelling en-route to The Botanical Gardens, stop at Dawes Point, under the impressive structure of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for a magnificent view back to The Sydney Opera House.
Always breath-taking and inspiring wonderful photos, enjoy soaking up the view and securing some fabulous photos of your own, after which you will visit The Botanical Gardens where the vista back to The Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Government House, Kirribilli House and Admiralty House are all within view.
A short drive from The Botanical Gardens, head past the gorgeous finger wharves of Woolloomooloo and into the famous area of Kings Cross, the hub of Sydney nightlife.
The next stop is Paddington. Known for its historical period terrace houses, fashionable laneways and art galleries, stop for morning tea at a quaint local café.
Following morning tea, travel through some back streets of Paddington and into Woollahra. From here commence your decent to Double Bay, the Rodeo Drive of Sydney shopping and the start of the fashionable Eastern Suburbs.
Our final stop for the morning is Rose Bay (which is as beautiful as it sounds) to board your privately chartered luxury motor 48’ cruiser, “Iluka”.
Following a short on-board briefing, commence your 3 to 3.5 hour cruise taking in some of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks. Cruise to the north side of the harbour, past Kirribilli, the home to the Australian Prime Minister and Governor General and under The Sydney Harbour Bridge and into Darling Harbour. Cruise east past the new Barangaroo development and then pass within meters of the Sydney Opera House, with views back to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and up the harbour to the Eastern Suburbs. Head east past Woolloomooloo and Garden Island on the way to a quiet picturesque bay for a wonderful gourmet lunch.
Lunch will include an assortment of fresh local seafood, delicious salads and some BBQ treats. Conclude the meal with a homemade desert. Your time on board Iluka and your gourmet lunch will be accompanied with a selection of premium local beers and wine.
Following lunch, head back to Rose Bay, via the magnificent waterfront properties of Double Bay, Point Piper and Vaucluse.
At approximately 3pm we arrive back to the Rose Bay Wharf.
The second half of the discovery of Sydney by road recommences driving a short distance from Rose Bay to Vaucluse House. This is a magnificent example of colonial architecture set in a manicured landscape.
Stop off at Vaucluse House and then continue to the most easterly suburb of Watsons Bay via some of Sydney’s most affluent real estate.
Stop at Watsons Bay and visit the ocean side of South Head call “The Gap”, close to the entrance to Sydney Harbour. There are dramatic cliff views from this location and amazing views back to the city.
Depart Watsons Bay and travel to one of Australia’s most famous beaches, Bondi Beach.
At Bondi, you can take a short coastal walk or venture onto the white sands of Bondi Beach or dip your toes in the ocean.
At approximately 5:30pm your tour will conclude, at which point your guide will return you to your Sydney accommodation.
This itinerary can be taken all year round, however seasonal considerations may apply and availability will need to be confirmed at time of enquiry.
This tour does not operate on Christmas Day – other dates subject to availability

If a cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to Tour departure the cancellation fee is 25% of the Tour price.
If a cancellation is made more than 14 days but less than 30 days prior to Tour departure the cancellation fee is 50% of the Tour price.
If a cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to Tour departure, or for a non-appearance to commence the Tour, the cancellation fee is 100% of the Tour price.
No refunds are payable for ‘change of mind’
