Home to the highest level of cricket and football, Adelaide Oval is sure to impress no matter what season you experience it. You Leader will explain the history of the landmark as well as its historic and iconic significance as well as its presence today.
Trained Leaders will guide you along the highest locations of the roofline during daylight hours. This RoofClimb group tour will commence 15 mins before your scheduled tour departure time so you can be suited up and ready to go.
This tour sees you commence your walk from the Western Stand over to the Riverbank Stand on a purpose-built path. This unique experience allows you to absorb breathtaking views as far as the eye can see whether it be to the coast or Adelaide Hills. Be a part of something special and get an incredible introduction to the history of the highly regarded and visited Adelaide Oval.
This experience will conclude two hours after departure. You are able to purchase additional photos and shop for RoofClimb merchandise following your debrief.

Clothing – Please wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing on the day of the RoofClimb — i.e. t-shirt and shorts for summer, and long sleeves and pants for winter.
You will be provided with a special RoofClimb suit to put on over your clothes. There are a limited number of change rooms located in the RoofClimb Centre if you need to change clothes.
Shoes – We recommend that you wear comfortable, rubber soled shoes with sufficient grip, so your running, hiking or sport shoes will be perfect. PVC and leather soled shoes are not ideal as they can be slippery on the grated walkway.
