A full day experience of Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches, this is luxury day tour that includes life as a local at Manly Beach, with either a surf lesson, kayak or a bike ride; a visit to one of the most important Australian institutions, an operational Surf Lifesaving Club; some intriguing Aboriginal history and of course, an opportunity to live The Beach Life at some of Sydney’s most spectacular coastal areas.

This tour is about immersing yourself in Sydney Beach culture where you get a chance to visit some of our more beautiful beaches and learn to surf or kayak on Sydney harbour. Today is about a side of Sydney where the locals like to hang out, play and offer their time volunteering in our Surf Lifesaving Clubs.
This is a tour many tourists don’t get to experience so bring your bathers and suntan cream and join us on a day of discovery and activities on our coastline.
This is a full day of sightseeing and activity so to make the most of it your tour commences at approximately 7:30am when meeting your personal guide at your hotel lobby.
Your private tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at 7.30, as an early start is required to maximise all of the inclusions of this luxury day tour. You will drive across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the northern side of Sydney. The first stop is at a magnificent lookout to Sydney Harbour and beyond. View Sydney’s famous sandstone cliff faces, learn about Sydney’s colonial past, maritime history, flora and fauna and discover links to the Aboriginal culture. You spend approximately 30 minutes marvelling and absorbing views from one the highest sandstone cliffs overlooking Sydney Heads.
You are offered numerous ways to experience our beaches. Choose from a private surf lesson at Manly Beach, kayaking to a secluded harbour beach and former Quarantine Station or for those who prefer to keep their feet dry, choose a discovery bike ride around Manly and nature areas. Of course, for those who prefer walking, we have some exception walks to offer too.
Whichever activity you choose, 90 minutes is allocated to surf, bike ride, kayak or walk.
The chosen activity finish around 10:30am and its time to venture further north for morning tea at a local seaside cafe.
After morning tea you’ll visit one of Sydney’s cultural institutions a Surf Lifesaving Club. Surf Lifesaving is rich in history and unique to an Australian way of life. Here you take a look behind the scenes where you will discover everything from surfing memorabilia to modern racing surf craft.
The next stop is Long Reef headland. It is a 30 minute return walk to the headland and set at the end of a magnificent golf course. Long Reef is a marine sanctuary and an amazing vista approximately half way to Palm Beach, Sydney’s most northern suburb.
Depart Long Reef at around 12.45am and enjoy a well-deserved lunch at a funky beachside café, that suits your mood and taste on the day.
Following lunch, head back to the city via another amazing vista from a National Park. Your guide will take you on a short stroll in the park to take in some great vantage points for photos out over some of Sydney most picturesque waterways.
You then depart the National Park and head back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Your tour will conclude upon arrival back at your Sydney CBD hotel at approximately 4:30pm.
Comfortable walking shoes or joggers are recommended if you decide upon biking or walking

No refunds are payable to the Client for any changes to the Tour requested by the Client after departure, the Client’s failure to appear for the Tour or any component part of the Tour, the Client leaving the Tour after its commencement, the Client being excluded from the Tour or any component part of the Tour in accordance with this Agreement.
