Your private and specialised host will meet you at your Sydney CBD hotel at 10am to begin your fun filled VIP food adventure – a walking tour where your feet do the work and your taste buds get the glory!
On this food focused adventure, you will have the chance to taste the freshest seafood, indulge in wonderful flavours and sample some of what we think is some of the finest produce in Australia! This food tour is designed to delight your taste buds exploring some of the finest food and wine this city has to offer.
Starting the day at one of the country’s oldest pubs in the historic Rocks area, soak up the atmosphere and try the local craft beer, paired of course with matching “pub grub”. While you’ll learn some of the super interesting history about the venue (and the characters and ales it has experienced) you’ll also learn about the emergence of the super cool craft beer scene in Sydney
Next wander past the Sydney Opera House and through the Royal Botanic Gardens and enjoy some of Sydney’s most breathtaking views. This is an easy walk, all the while enjoying the unique Australian flora and fauna . Arriving at the iconic Woolloomooloo Wharf, indulge in champagne, locally grown Sydney Rock oysters and tender salt & pepper squid.
With your taste buds expecting their next chapter in their foodie adventure, we stroll through the ultra-trendy yet quaint and historic Potts Point, often referred to as the ‘Paris’ of Sydney. This is the finale – lunch at one of Sydney’s hottest new restaurants – Bistro Rex. With super chic interior space this is the place to enjoy modern French style cuisine and as part of the journey you will get the chance to meet the Head Chefs and co-owners, who will share with you their inspiration behind the menu and also recommend matching wines to compliment your plate perfectly. Bistro Rex uses the finest Australian produce to craft a delicate menu with a French twist.
Satisfied and satiated, your host will escort you back to your hotel at approximately 2pm.
