Days 4 – 7: Byron Bay – Surf with a Champion Surfer, Kayak & Relax
Byron Bay was made famous in the 1970s when hippies travelled to the region for the Aquarius Festival. Many stayed, seduced by its stunning beaches, surrounding rainforest and hinterland.
Your touring experience does not stop when you get to Byron Bay. Included in your 4 days is:
A personalised surfing lesson with former USA surfing champion Rusty Miller to not only hone your new-found surfing skills but to learn surf history and culture.
A highlight of your stay in Byron Bay will likely be the sea kayaking tour; ocean adventure paddling with dolphins and learning the local Aboriginal stories and sacred places whilst taking in the magnificent coastline.
