Pretty Beach House

Tucked away in coastal bushland and perched high on an escarpment is Pretty Beach House. Located on the Central Coast of New South Wales on the Bouddi Peninsula some 100 kilometres north of Sydney, this exclusive guesthouse offers four exquisite pavilions perfect for couples to celebrate an anniversary, reconnect or simply enjoy quality time together.

With just four spacious Pavilions, this retreat hosts a maximum of eight adults at one time. Two of the Pavilions are accessible from the main house: the Retreat, the most palatial of the pavilions, is tucked away featuring two levels of luxurious seclusion including a heated private plunge pool; and the penthouse-like Treetops Pavilion, offering unrivalled escarpment and bay views. The spacious Hideaway Pavilion is freestanding and surrounded by lush vegetation, also with its own private plunge pool. Bayview Pavilion is also separate and freestanding, featuring split-level living, complete with a romantic heated outdoor plunge pool.

The main house is at the heart of the spectacular bushland property. Inside, an airy, luxurious lounge and library, an open kitchen and guest cocktail bar, and an atrium dining room form the main hub. Natural and contemporary design is featured throughout, with details of large recycled wooden beams, blowtorched metal, NSW mud bricks and locally quarried sandstone.

Outside, the generous deck is set with a magnificent infinity pool, positioned to take in views through the ancient angophoras and eucalypts onto oyster farms nestled within sparkling Broken Bay. On still mornings, eucalyptus trees reflect in the water of the infinity pool while the bay shimmers at the base of the escarpment.

All dining is included as part of the hospitality at Pretty Beach House and is a highlight for most guests. An open bar is included in your stay, fully stocked with premium wines, beers, and spirits.

Central Coast

A scenic and serene stretch of the New South Wales coastline just north of Sydney, the Central Coast offers beautiful beaches and backyards, accompanied by laidback attitudes and barefoot vibes.

The Bouddi Peninsula and National Park is known for its boardwalk and birdlife, where shady rainforest and sweeping coastal views meet. Myriad walking trails lead guests to discover rainforests, scenic lookouts, Aboriginal cultural sites, and abundant wildlife. The waters of this region range from pristine beachfront to lakes, inlets, and the mighty Hawkesbury-Nepean River. Popular activities include surfing, seasonal whale and dolphin watching, swimming, scuba diving, kayaking, paddle-boarding, scenic boating and more. This region is also home to Broken Bay, home to fresh local oysters and exquisite, world-class Akoya pearls.

Positioned centrally between Sydney and Newcastle, Pretty Beach House is located on the southern edge of the Bouddi Peninsula, just across Sydney’s Palm Beach.

Seaplane flights are available both to and from the property, departing and returning to Rose Bay in Sydney. Seaplane flights take approximately 20 minutes and fly over the spectacular northern beaches of Sydney and major sites like the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the Harbour itself.

Pretty Beach House is accessible via 90-minute drive north from Sydney, or 90-minute south from Newcastle.

Embracing the natural bounty found within, Pretty House Beach invites guests to wade into the natural surroundings of the Bouddi Peninsula at their leisure with a range of activities across water, land, and sky. The house manager is on-hand to assist with any adventures you’re interested in.

Located on traditional Darkinjung land, one of the finest ways to arrive at Pretty Beach House is with a Welcome ceremony, incorporating dance and didgeridoo. Available at extra cost, this beautiful and profound experience invites you to see the landscape with the understanding and interpretation of its Traditional Custodians.

Located alongside the pristine waters of the South Pacific Ocean and the pearl-producing region of Broken Bay, there are plentiful aquatic landscapes to discover. Sail the local waterways, discover hidden beaches and private coves, and discover the bounty of the waters by sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

On the land, there are outstanding trails that intersect the Bouddi Peninsula, providing opportunities for scenic picnics, wildlife watching, and more. Wander the landscapes on a self-directed walk, or enjoy a guided experience to learn about the landscape in further depth.

At an additional cost, the Bouddi Spa is the perfect private haven for guests to holistically unwind with premium treatments and products made from Australian botanicals.

Pretty Beach House has four beautifully appointed pavilions catering to just eight adults at any given time. Each pavilion offers generous and romantic touches and invites guests to escape into serenity within scenic National Park. Indulge in generous accommodation options with accompanying seasonal dishes and outstanding nature.
