The Queensland Hinterlands experiences warm and wet summers, and dry mild winters, much like the rest of the state.
In summer (December to February), the days are typically warm with expected rains, the average daily temperature sits at 30°C (86°F). In winter (June to August) the daily temperatures drop slightly on average, however they still maintain a mild average of between 20.8 – 22.2°C (69.4 – 71.9°F).
During the spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) months the days daily vary between mild and warm, with the average daily temperature sitting between 23.8 – 29.2°C (74.8 – 84.6°F).
