Day 1

Upon your arrival at Sydney Airport, you will be met and privately transferred to the Park Hyatt Sydney. Seated majestically on one of the world’s most beautiful harbours, the Park Hyatt Sydney perfectly personifies contemporary harbourside luxury with its coveted location between the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The hotel’s spacious rooms feature contemporary interiors, modern bathrooms with dual vanity, wet area, rain-shower, deep bathtub and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open on to private balconies.

You will have time to refresh and unpack at the Park Hyatt before you are met by your private guide to begin a day of Sydney touring. First up on the agenda is a beautiful drive over to Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach to take in the sights. Here you are able to experience the thrill of a private surfing lesson with a local surf instructor. Your surf coach will cover all of the basics from warm-up, to paddling, catching waves and standing.

Enjoy lunch at the iconic restaurant ‘Icebergs’ before continuing your exploration of Sydney with your private guide. Later in the afternoon board ‘Shadow’ a 77 foot luxury cruiser for a beautiful 3 hour sunset cruise which includes dinner on stunning Sydney Harbour.

Day 2

This morning you will be met by your private guide to start the day with an early-morning backstage tour of the beloved Sydney Opera House. Walk the boards of the Concert Hall, take up the Conductor’s baton in the Orchestra Pit and have breakfast in the Green Room.

After you tour of the Sydney Opera House continue discovering the city with your private guide, stop for lunch before embarking on the BridgeClimb, the ultimate experience of Sydney. Reach the summit of the world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, 134 metres above Sydney Harbour. It takes you along catwalks, up ladder and steadily to the summit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Experience the satisfaction of conquering the upper arch of the Bridge while taking in city surrounds, the World Heritage listed Sydney Opera House, the harbour and the Bridge itself beneath your feet.

Later in the afternoon you will be returned to the Park Hyatt Sydney for a relaxing evening at your leisure.

Day 3

This morning you will be met at the Park Hyatt Sydney and privately transferred to Sydney (Bankstown) Airport to begin your Pilatus PC-12 journey across Australia. Your first destination is Spicers Peak Lodge, located in Queensland’s stunning Scenic Rim. Let your cares melt away, enjoy an award-winning gourmet experience, unwind in Spa Anise or choose from a host of invigorating outdoor activities.

Located on 8,000 acres at the peak of the ridge, with breathtaking views of the World Heritage listed Main Range National Park and Scenic Rim, Spicers Peak Lodge is Queensland’s highest mountain lodge retreat. This architecturally stunning lodge is an eclectic mix of contemporary and classic design. With ten luxurious suites and two Private Lodges, Spicers Peak Lodge serves as an intimate and relaxing accommodation experience in one of South East Queensland’s most beautiful wilderness areas.

Day 4

While at Spicers Peak Lodge explore its beautiful surrounds and choose from the selected scheduled daily activities such as guided nature walk, 4WD discovery tour, guided mountain biking, night nocturnal walk and morning yoga.

Day 5

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your private charter flight aboard the Pilatus PC-12 to Lizard Island, located on the famous Great Barrier Reef.

Situated some 240 kilometres north of Cairns, Lizard Island is surrounded by a sea of deep aquamarine and forms part of the Great Barrier Reef near its northernmost end. The beautiful Lizard Island Resort is balanced high above the Coral Sea and set on the point at Sunset Ridge. The range of spacious open-plan designs are luxuriously appointed, all with spectacular views.

The beaches are plentiful, 24 in all, with fine powdery white sand, undisturbed but for the occasional footprints. Your island is for snorkelling, if you choose, or deep-sea game fishing, or diving at The Cod Hole, one of the world famous dive sites just a short boat ride away. Enjoy secluded picnics on private beaches, five star cuisine and indulging spa treatments.

Naturally many of the options on Lizard Island involve the water. Snorkelling equipment and lessons are provided. You can snorkel off a secluded beach to discover a garden of giant clams, many a metre long and some reputed to be 120 years old. Or you can explore Anchor and Watson’s bay on a catamaran or glass bottom paddle ski.

Day 6

Today you will have the opportunity to experience a luxury charter boat trip from your base at Lizard Island. The 51ft Riviera Platinum Model Flybridge Cruiser, ‘Fascination III’ has a cruise speed of 20 knots and can take up to 10 passengers (including crew). Enjoy your day at sea where you will have the chance to fish, swim or snorkel at some of the best spots on the Great Barrier Reef.

After breakfast bid farewell to Lizard Island as you board the Pilatus PC-12 and continue your journey to the heart of Australia’s red centre for a 2 night stay at Longitude 131°. The award-winning luxury wilderness camp is a deluxe camping experience that embraces the solitude and serenity of the sand dunes. Stay in one of only fifteen elevated tents and awake to your own private view of the sun rising over Uluru. Day 10

Perhaps take an early morning sunrise walk, before embarking on your journey to the Flinders Ranges, in outback South Australia. So sit back, relax and enjoy your flight, with Angorichina Station being your next stop.

An ancient landscape moulded by millions of years of geological activity, the Flinders Ranges offers some of Australia’s most spectacular outback scenery. Angorichina Station is a working sheep station with 140 years of history, 64,000 hectares and a warm welcome for just six discerning guests.

Experience an authentic slice of outback life with the Fargher family, who have worked the beguiling red lands of the Southern Flinders for four generations. Their historic homestead is an oasis of period elegance, green lawns and manicured roses, a striking contrast to the echoing plains and ancient ranges where eagles keen.

Day 11

Immerse yourself in the daily life of a working outback sheep station or meander through the virtual museum of 19th century outbuildings – the shearing shed, shearers’ quarters, the former manager’s residence and tack room; during season you’ll see mustering and sheep-shearing in action.

Take a rugged 4WD tour, or a guided walk of the ancient Flinders Ranges. On property, you can also search for some of the oldest fossils on earth, treasures from the Ediacaran to Precambrian periods. Observe the wildlife including emus, kangaroos, rare Yellow-footed Rock Wallabies and abundant birdlife.

Day 12

This morning depart Angorichina Station and make the journey to Kingscote Airport on Kangaroo Island. Upon arrival at the Kingscote Airport you will be met and privately transferred to Southern Ocean Lodge, Australia’s first true luxury lodge, offering an unique and exclusive travel experience on Kangaroo Island in South Australia.

Floating atop a secluded cliff on a rugged stretch of coast, the lodge commands peerless views of the wild Southern Ocean and pristine Kangaroo Island wilderness. Today experience a full day of private touring with Exceptional Kangaroo Island. Former wildlife ranger and islander Craig Wickham, Exceptional Kangaroo Island’s founder, has assembled a team of dedicated, sharp-eyed outdoor enthusiasts who combine the role of naturalists, historians, driver, guides and story tellers to ensure you gain a locals perspective of the island.

On conclusion of the tour you will be transferred back to Southern Ocean Lodge and will have the remainder of the evening to relax and indulge in great food, wine and stunning views.

Day 14

Enjoy your last morning at leisure before departing Southern Ocean Lodge to Kingscote Airport and board the Pilatus PC-12 for the return flight to Sydney. On arrival you will be met by your driver and will be privately transferred to The Langham Sydney.
